Steve Sutherland started working in the electronics industry, initially working for Cambridge Instruments on a range of scanning electron microscopes.
After several years working for companies & consultancies in the Cambridge area, in 2006 he decided to set up business on his own as a one-man-band, designing electronics and writing software.
In 2012, Sutherland Design was formed as a limited company, and has continued since that date to assist companies, from small start-ups to large global organisations, with electronic design and software.
We can provide a flexible approach, producing prototype systems and proof-of-concept designs rapidly, working with customers to find the appropriate balance of hardware, firmware & software to address their particular application.
Based in the UK, but with experience of working for clients around the world, we can provide a solution tailored to your needs, providing the optimum benefit in terms of total cost and development time.
We appreciate that different customers have different requirements and to accommodate this we can work on or off customer sites, depending on location. We can provide either a fixed price quote, or work on an hourly or daily fee rate. Please contact us to discuss how we can best help you
